The agreement was signed in the opening ceremony of the 1st IAS Maldivian Tennis Championships 2017 held in in National Tennis Centre. Managing Director of Island Aviation Services Mr. Abdul Haris and President of Tennis Association of Maldives Mr. Ahmed Nazeer signed the agreements on behalf of their agencies. According to the agreement a new tennis tournament titled “IAS Maldivian Tennis Championships” will be held in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Speaking to media, Mr. Haris said, “Tennis is a sport gaining popularity in Maldives, which is the main reason for Island Aviation extended aid and encourage the sport in the country.”
