TAM has announced the junior tennis team participating in the ITF 14 & Under Development Championships- Regional Qualifying Event of South, South East and East Asia, which will be held from 13th -24th January 2020 in Manila, Philippines. Each week of the championships is equivalent to “Category 1, Asian 14&under tournament” for awarding the Asian 14&under ranking points to the players.
The Championships will incorporate a one-day training camp followed by two 5-day tournaments, all at the same venue. Players participating in the regional qualifying event of the ITF Asia 14&Under Development Championships, which has been classed as a Category 1 of Asian 14&under tournament, will be accorded Asian 14&U ranking points, based on their performance during the championships.
Top two nations from each regional qualifying event (2020) will be promoted to the ITF Asia 14 & U Development Championships – Final of the following year (2021), based on the final country ranking at the end of the championships.
