An event was held on the 31st of October 2019 at the one of the conference rooms at STELCO Maldives Building. This event was held to openly do the draw for the upcoming 50th Bank of Maldives National Tennis Championships to be held on the 15th of November of 2019.
A fair number of parents and players came down to witness the event. The drawing process was initiated by TAM General Secretary Yusuf Riza and was lead by tournament director Coach Kumar with the aid of Senior Coach Akram and TAM Administrators Ifshad and Aisthu.
With a a high number of foreign players joining in this tournament it was very important to show the draw being done in a fair and structured manner to garner confidence in tournaments organised by the association.
At the end, the draw turned out to have exciting match ups in every category which everyone is looking forward to witness in the coming weeks.
