The Executive Committee (EXCO) is the main decision making body of TAM. The EXCO may be called upon for decision as and when required by the President and the Management of TAM. It is comprised of 7 elected members, which includes the President, Vice President, The Treasurer and 4 members elected by membership in an Annual General Meeting. The term of the EXCO is 4 years.

Mr.Ahmed Nazeer
Lifetime Honorary President
Ahmed Nazeer is a successful and well-known entrepreneur in the Maldives. He has enthusiastically contributed to the development of sports, particularly tennis in the country. Mr.Nazeer brings with him experience from his business endeavours and provides a corporate and efficiency-based philosophy to the development of TAM. Under his leadership, direction and guidance, TAM has witnessed significant progress over the last 6 years, particularly in terms of facilities available to players and the development of players.

Mr.Ahmed Hafeez
President
Ahmed Hafeez is a successful and well-known businessman in the Maldives. He has enthusiastically contributed to the development of tennis in the country. Mr.Hafeez is serving his first term as the President of TAM and brings with him a wealth of vision from his business endeavours, and provides stewardship and guidance to lead the organisation to new heights. He himself is an avid tennis player who is a regular member at the organisation who has won tournaments in the country in the past.

Mr. Ignaz Mansoor
Vice President
Ignaz Mansoor is the Vice President of the Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM), a role in which he contributes to promoting and developing tennis as a recreational and competitive sport in the Maldives. A former national tennis champion, Ignaz secured multiple titles during his competitive career, showcasing his prowess on the court. Beyond his sporting achievements, he is an experienced hotelier, leveraging his expertise in the hospitality industry, which is a cornerstone of the Maldives’ economy. His multifaceted career reflects a commitment to both sports and business, making him a prominent figure in Maldivian tennis and tourism sectors

Mr.Hassan Shaam
Executive Committee Member
A Banker by profession and a previous National Singles Champion Mr. Shaam, was the Technical Director of TAM, before being elected to the Executive Committee in 2016. Mr. Shaam provides technical advice to TAM voluntarily. He is also in the Appeals Committee of TAM which reviews requests and appeals on the YDP groupings.

Mr. Mohamed Fazeeh

Mohamed Fazeeh is an Executive Committee (EXCO) member of the Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM), where he plays a key role in advancing tennis development in the country. As the first captain of the Maldives Davis Cup team, Fazeeh led the national squad during its debut in international competition, showcasing his leadership and passion for the sport. A prominent figure in Maldivian tennis, he has competed in numerous tournaments, earning recognition for his skills and dedication. Beyond his athletic achievements, Fazeeh is also known for his contributions to sports administration, helping to foster the growth of tennis in the Maldives through his involvement with TAM

Mr.Mahmood Rameez
Treasurer
Mr.Rameez is currently serving his third term as Treasurer and an EXCO member. Mr. Rameez is responsible for all financial matters of TAM and reports to the EXCO. An Accountant by profession, Mr. Rameez brings 10 years of experience from the private sector to TAM.
