The Executive Committee (EXCO) is the main decision making body of TAM. The EXCO may be called upon for decision as and when required by the President and the Management of TAM. It is comprised of 7 elected members, which includes the President, Vice President, The Treasurer and 4 members elected by membership in an Annual General Meeting. The term of the EXCO is 4 years.

Mr.Ahmed Nazeer

President

Ahmed Nazeer is a successful and well-known entrepreneur in the Maldives. He has enthusiastically contributed to development of sports, in particularly tennis in the country. Mr.Nazeer is serving his second 4-year term as the President of TAM and brings with him a experience from his business endeavours, and provides a corporate and efficiency-based philosophy to the development of TAM. Under his leadership, direction and guidance, TAM has witnessed significant progress over the last 6 years, particularly in terms of facilities available to players and development of players.

Mr.Mohamed Ameen

Vice President

A keen tennis lover and Airline Captain by profession, Mr. Ameen has been one of the most active Vice President that TAM has seen. Mr. Ameen is serving his second 4-year term as the Vice President of TAM. Mr. Ameen closely supervises the daily functioning and management of TAM.

Mr.Hassan Shaam

Executive Committee Member

A Banker by profession and a previous National Singles Champion Mr. Shaam, was   the Technical Director of TAM, before being elected to the Executive Committee in 2016. Mr. Shaam provides technical advice to TAM voluntarily. He is also in the Appeals Committee of TAM which reviews requests and appeals on the YDP groupings.

Mr.Ahmed Shaam

Mr. Shaam served as the President of TAM and has contributed to the development of tennis for considerable number of years. Mr. Shaam was first elected as an Executive Committee member in 2012 and his currently serving his second term in the Executive Committee. Mr. Shaam is also a tennis player himself and has several amateur doubles titles to his credit.

Mr.Ibrahim Rasheed

Executive Committee Member

Mr. Ibrahim Rasheed, a veteran sportsman has represented Maldives at national level in several sports including football, volleyball and basketball and has been involved in TAM management. Mr. Rasheed is currently serving his second term as an executive committee member.

Mr.Ibrahim Hussain

Executive Committee Member

Mr.Hussain is a retired and well known and respected public servant who plays tennis as a pastime. Mr. Hussain has been an active member of EXCO who brings a wealth of experience to TAM. Mr. Hussain has to his credit, several doubles titles in tennis at the over 45 and over 55 age categories.

Mr.Mahmood Rameez

Treasurer

Mr.Rameez is currently serving his third term as Treasurer and an EXCO member. Mr. Rameez is responsible for all financial matters of TAM and reports to the EXCO. An Accountant by profession, Mr. Rameez brings 10 years of experience from the private sector to TAM.
